Loooove it, Susie! It's been an honor to have met you! Keep doing it Susie, for Metro, for you, for the rest of us pet loving guys! Actually they are more than pets, they are part of our families! Go Susie and Metro! Much Love!

Susie,
I continue to feel happily amazed at the special gift you have of seeing magic moments and then painting them with your words for the rest of us to savor. As a fellow animal lover, I am hoping that your books find their way into the little hands of many future animal lovers who will learn from you what it means to be the one to give a happy life to a precious furry friend. Thank you for sharing your love of Metro in such a delightful way.

Hi Susie
I LOVE Metro and your stories! As I told you, when I read the first book (in one sitting on a plane flight, I couldn't stop smiling the whole time! - thanks for finding the courage and inspiration to share Metro's stories with us all - you ROCK! hugs and love!

Susie, I love your website, it's been fun looking around, and getting to see pic's of little metro. Thanks for putting your heart out here, and giving us smiles.

Hi Susie! Thank you for writing about Metro. I'm through book 1 and looking forward to reading the rest! I always learn great life lessons from Metro...lots of laughs and yes, good tears at times too. Thank you Susie!!

SUSIE! This site is sooo kewl! The whole Metro idea is the very best ... and I'm sure Metro is as well.
If you know me you know how much a part of my life my canine buddies have been.
1) Andy: The stupidest dalmation you have ever met ... but with a heart of gold.
2) Patrick: My 300 lb St. Bernard when I was just a pup myself. Actually used to ride him around the neighborhood.
3) Kirby: The finest, most intelligent collie I have ever known. He took care of my mom and dad when I had to go out on my own.
4) Jon: Was actually my sister's dog, a GIANT blonde lab, who took over the job for Kirby and did it really well. Actually passed on in my arms in my mom and dad's living room. Was a completely transcendent moment for both of us.
5) Conor: This was an amazing and VERY SPECIAL dog person. A Golden who was my best friend for just about 15 years. An amazing friend who was right there all the time ... and was smarter than me most all the time. Conor was so amazing I actually used him in regional theater productions without "training" ... I'd just have a talk with him ... tell him what he needed to do ... and he'd do it ... night after night for the remainder of the run. Miss you buddy. You were the best.
6) Cimarron : WOW .. what do you say about a canine friend whose mother was a cross between and Irish Setter, a collie, and a retriever ... and whose father was a Timber Wolf from Canada. This guy was somthing special. We met when he was already 8 and in need of help, but bonded like we'd been together forever. It's my firm belief that Conor sent Cimarron to take care of me when he couldn't any longer.
NOW ... there #7 ... that's MONTY ... MOnty is an Italian Mastiff who is larger than my ego ... lol. He seems to bring all of the former guys right into focus, and seems a natural progression. Yeah he's HUGE ... But the hugeness just reinforces how large a part of my life ALL these guys have been.
WOW! I should start my own blog about dogs ... LOL. Sorry ... More than you ever wanted to hear. I just saw your site and was really touched. To me our dogs are simply the people we would like to be if we could ... they are human beings with all the crap removed ... lol ... sry for my frankness. I just saw your site and felt the urge to talk about the 7 best friends I've ever had.
Thanks!

The site is so fun! Love the dots and content ;-)
